Kohli had been absent from the team for a few days due to a reported personal emergency, but he made a strong comeback by dedicating two hours to intense practice in the nets on Wednesday in Chennai. According to reports from PTI, Kohli's session was so productive that it extended by an additional 45 minutes.

Not only Kohli, but other players such as Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya were also present in the nets, honing their batting and bowling skills. Kuldeep Yadav also had a valuable session to improve his bowling technique.

Unfortunately, both warm-up games for the Indian team were canceled due to rain. This has left the cricketing fraternity puzzled about the team's bowling combination against Australia in Chennai. However, there is a possibility that they might choose to include local talent Ravichandran Ashwin alongside Kuldeep and Jadeja right from the start.
