MS Dhoni and his lightning-quick stumping does not surprise any cricket fan anymore. He displayed one of his stumping-artworks on Saturday during the second ODI between India and New Zealand.

It happened during New Zealand's chase of 325 and Dhoni's new victim became former BlackCaps captain Ross Taylor.

It was the first ball of the 18th over, bowled by Kedar Jadhav. The Kiwi generated some drift and Taylor was beaten on the outside edge, while he tried to push the ball. The back foot came up very slightly and that was enough for Dhoni, who whipped off the bails in a flash.

    Watch Taylor's dismissal here:

The third umpire was asked for the final call, who hardly took a few seconds to declare Taylor out.

Whenever Dhoni does a Dhoni - a lightning-quick stumping - the Twitter never forgets to acknowledge the effort of the legend and heaps praise on him on the platform.

On the occasion of 70th Republic Day, on Saturday, Dhoni made a significant record for his country in the ODIs.

Dhoni, who has been serving his nation in cricket since 2004, equalled former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin for the number of ODIs played for India.

Dhoni and Azharuddin have played 334 ODIs each for India and are joint third on the chart of the most number of ODIs for India behind the record-holder Sachin Tendulkar (463) and Rahul Dravid (340).

Earlier in the day, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat. A collective effort from the Indian batters saw the tourists post a total of 324 runs in 50 overs.

In response to that, New Zealand have already lost six wickets and a victory looks difficult here for the hosts.

India lead 1-0 in the five-match ODI series after their eight-wicket win in the opening match.
