According to police, stolen jewelleries of worth Rs2 lakh and other valuables, besides house breaking instruments and knives, were also recovered from them.

Three Bangladeshis involved in as many as 21 cases of burglary in the national capital and surrounding areas have been arrested and cash and valuables worth lakhs recovered from them, police said today.
Mohammed Babu alias Mental, Mohammed Suman alias Awwal and Mohammed Sujan alias Kasim were arrested from P V Hostel near Dayal Singh college area after a brief chase last night, they said.
According to police, stolen jewelleries of worth Rs2 lakh and other valuables, besides house breaking instruments and knives, were also recovered from them.
A senior police officer claimed that the trio committed as many as 21 burglaries in various localities of Noida and Delhi.
"In the last two months, they committed crimes in various sectors of Noida and disposed of the stolen jewellery in West Bengal and Bangladesh. Some stolen articles were also disposed of in Sain Bagh and Nizamuddin area," he said.
A case under Arms Act and The Foreigners Act was registered against the three accused at Lodhi colony police station.
"The accused originally belonged to Bangladesh and could not show any valid visa and passport for their stay in India," officer said adding trio were presently staying at Sector 58 Noida.
Stolen jewelleries and other valuables were recovered on their instance from their hideouts in Noida, police claimed.
According to police, Babu, who is a drug addict, was the leader of the gang. He had come to India around 10 years ago and settled with his wife in Assam where he purchased around two acres of land and also built a house.
