A study conducted by the St Andrews researchers showed that gray seals could imitate sounds of human words and songs.
The researchers published their findings on Thursday and put up video footage of the seals imitating popular tunes.
Seals has always been the most memed and most shared animal on social media and this video spread through all social media platforms like wildfire.

The lead researcher told the BBC that seals could be used as a new model to study speech disorders, the evolution of vocal learning and human language development.
