Now, it seems a major fast food brand has joined the batallion to ridicule healthy eaters

Clean eating isn’t for everyone. Sure, keeping yourself healthy might be ideal, but not everyone can keep to it. In fact, most even scorn those who adopt a healthy lifestyle. Now, it seems a major fast food brand has joined the batallion to ridicule healthy eaters.
KFC UK and Ireland tweeted out a decidedly confusing video for a new #CleanEating burger. The 10-second clip features the image above, describing it as a burger with a “Chia-seeded cauliflower bun, unsweetened almond yoghurt, ice cube relish, spiralised chicken breast, and 100 per cent British kale”. If that doesn’t make the meat eater in you shiver, nothing will.
However, it turns out the tweet is part of an elaborate joke, with KFC trolling clean eating fanatics online.
The clip identifies healthy eating advocate Figgy Poppleton-Rice as a collaborator for the product, who describes herself as a “#CleanEating fanatic and cauliflower connoisseur”.
When Mashable reached out to KFC for a comment, the response was even more confusing. “The KFC spokesperson isn’t available to comment as they are currently looking into an increased cauliflower demand,” the company responded via email. Clearly, KFC decided to celebrate April Fool’s early.
