The Duchess of Cambridge spent her second wedding anniversary by visiting a hospice as part of Children’s Hospice Week on April 30 in Hampshire.

The 31-year-old royal arrived at the Naomi House Children’s Hospice in the afternoon to recognise the establishment that supports kids with life limiting conditions, the Daily Express reported.

She showed off her slender legs in a pretty peach dress, which was designed by an anonymous dressmaker, and teamed it with a Tara Jarmon coat in a darker shade of the summery colour.

Upon her arrival, the Duchess spent time greeting her well-wishers and those who have benefited from the hospice.

The wife of Duke of Cambridge, who is six and a half months pregnant, sported a curlier hairdo than the one she usually models.

The visit comes after she recognized children’s hospice week by recording her first video message, which was released on April 29, and appealed for support for the initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds.

“Children’s hospices provide lifelines to families at a time of unimaginable pain. The support they give is vital,” she said in the video.

“In order to carry out this wonderful work, our help is needed. With our support, those providing children’s palliative care can continue to offer these extraordinary services. It does not bear thinking about what these families would do without this,” the mum-to-be asserted

During her visit to the foundation, the Duchess toured the institution’s facilities and met children, their families, staff, volunteers and supporters of the charity.

The hospice needs to raise 7 million dollars a year from the public to provide accommodation, expert counselling and support for dying children and their loved ones.

A royal aide said that it was her local hospice when she lived in Bucklebury and she came here privately before she was married in 2008.

Catherine, who spent close to 90-minutes at the hospice, also spent her time enjoying a children’s tea party with brothers and sisters of children cared for during her visit.

It is believed that she and her husband will celebrate their anniversary privately, but they won’t be able to meet as the price is on duty at RAF Valley on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
