Diwali is here and there's special greetings all the way from Canada. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau just took to Twitter to wish everyone 'Diwali Mubarak'.
Though he looked particularly nice in a sherwani, some people were not pleased.
There were many who 'corrected' him for saying 'mubarak' in a Diwali tweet.
When did Justin Trudeau converted to Islam ,

He has started appropriating Diwali as a Islamic Festival?
Mubarak is Arabic, not ‘hindi.’ Jussayin.

Eid Mubarak not Diwali Mubarak, wish only Happy Diwali, stop getting coaching from Pakistani about Hindu festivals.

My man you can’t say Mubarak when referring to Diwali

It's not "Diwali Mubarak", it's "Diwali Ki Badhai" ... Correct it ..

Word to the wise : It's "Shubh-Deepavali", (Auspicious Deepavali), and NOT "Diwali Mubarak". "Mubarak" is Arabic, not Indian. @CanadainIndia

But there were those who appreciated Trudeau's gesture.

It is not the first time that the Canadian Prime Minister has sent out Diwali wishes. Last year, he had posted a special video message for the festival of lights.
