Wait, WHAT? Did Tamil 'Bigg Boss' host Kamal Haasan take a dig at Aamir Khan?

Kamal Hassan, the new host of the Tamil counterpart of Bigg Boss, subtlely put Aamir Khan down in an interview at the Bigg Boss Tamil launch press meet. At the conference, the actor was asked why he chose Bigg Boss over Satyameva Jayate as the Aamir Khan-hosted show is more focused on social issues faced by the country today. Surprisingly, the actor replied, "I have been more socially responsible for long than the person who hosted Satyamev Jayate."

On the other hand, in an interview conducted earlier by The Quint, Kamal Hassan praised Salman Khan greatly and claimed his friendly and easy-going disposition on the show helped the actors connect with him easily. 

He believes the show will be relevant among many households and, according to a report on Firstpost, he stated, "The show has a very wide reach. I don’t have to don an avatar this time. I can just be me, in my most natural self, and reach every household."

In addition, the trailer of the show was displayed at the meet as well and set the premise for what is to be the biggest reality TV show to come.
