Bigg Boss 11: Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu breaks silence on refusing the Salman Khan show

Controversial Television reality show Bigg Boss 11 is just around the corner, and a number of names have been doing the rounds who are speculated to be possible contestants on the show. One such name is that of TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee who became a household name by the portrayal of her character of Gopi Bahu in daily soap Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. 

Several reports stated that Devoleena is one of the top celebs in the running to be on Bigg Boss 11. Reportedly, the actress doesn't want to take up the show just for the sake of it. 

An IANS report suggests that the actress would consider being part of other dance based reality shows like Nach Baliye, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa or may be Khatron Ke Khiladi but not Bigg Boss. She also confirmed that she was approached for Bigg Boss 11 and why she refused to be a part of the Salman Khan show. 

"I want to work with superstar Salman Khan (the host of ‘Bigg Boss’). But I can’t do ‘Bigg Boss’ right now. I was approached for the show. I respect the channel and the production house for considering me. But I always wanted to do a dance-based reality show or, may be, try a show like ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’,” the actress was quoted as saying. 

As of now, Devoleena is on a vacation with her mother in Udaipur, Rajasthan. "I am in Udaipur and enjoying time with my mother. It’s her birth month. I’m only concerned about giving her all the happiness,” she added.
