Apple may soon launch a new color variant of the iPhone X – ‘blush gold’.

Photos shared by Twitter user Ben Geskin show of both the rear and sides of the device, as well as a matching SIM tray. The device is reportedly being assembled with the codename D21A.

At the moment, the iPhone X is available in two colors - silver and space gray. According to a report by Apple Insider, Apple was theorized to ship a "blush gold" iPhone X last year, but purportedly decided against it in light of production problems. Though the iPhone X was announced in September, it only shipped in November, likely as a result of the difficulty of manufacturing the phone's 3D-sensing TrueDepth camera.

In terms of specifications, the iPhone X sports a 5.8 inch Super Retina HD Display and is powered by the company’s A11 Bionic chip. It comes equipped with a 12MP + 12MP dual rear cameras along with a 7MP front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with a battery that claims to last up to 2 hours longer than the iPhone 7.

In October last year, Apple reported that the initial pre-orders for the 10th anniversary phone were "off the charts". The company's website showed delivery times pushed out to five to six weeks for the phone, compared to an initial plan of November 3.

Apple might also release noise-canceling, over-ear headphones, which will compete with companies like Bose and also, its own brand - Beats by Dre. These premium headphones might launch by September this year.

According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple has been facing development challenges that might push back the release of the device too. The company may redesign the headphones before its official launch or may scratch the project completely. The latest plans call for headphones targeting the high-end of the market, replicating Apple’s approach with the $349 HomePod speaker, released earlier this year.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo wrote that Apple is likely to work with current Apple suppliers Primax Electronics Ltd and Shin Zu Shing Co on the new headphones. These headphones are also said to feature noise-cancelling technology and similar ease-of-use features, which are found on the AirPods. They will also sport wireless charging.

Additionally, Kuo of KGI Securities recently stated that the company plans to introduce a more affordable version of the 13-inch MacBook Air this year as well.

Reports suggest that he expects Apple to release a new MacBook Air ‘with a lower price tag’ during the second quarter of 2018. The analyst reportedly expects that an affordable MacBook Air will help push MacBook shipments up by 10-15 percent this year.
