Media reports say that Motorola is working on a number of new smartphones and is planning to make a comeback this year.
Motorola has been in the mobile business for very long time. They are known worldwide for their Moto G series. It has been a whirlwind journey for the mobile company. They made a shift to the android operating system, later was bought by Google and then the ownership went to Lenovo.
The company is planning to make a comeback in 2021 with a number of new smartphones. Media reports say that Motorola is working on a number of new smartphones and will release them this year.
The company is expected to launch the following phones in 2021:
Moto G10
The Moto G10 is expected to get a Snapdragon 480 SoC (System on a chip), a quad-camera setup with 48 MegaPixel (MP) as the main lens, and 8 Mega Pixel front camera placed in a drop notch. The phone will sport a 6.5-inch panel with 60Hz refresh rate, 4/64GB storage and 5000mAh battery. The Moto G10 is expected to cost Rs 13,000 approx.
Moto G30
The Moto G30 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, a triple-camera setup and a 64MP main camera sensor. The rest of the features remains similar to the Moto G10. The Moto G30 is expected to cost Rs 15,800 approx.
Moto G Play (2021)
The Moto G Play (2021) is expected to launch around April 2021. The phone will is expected to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 46- SoC, a HD+ display, 5000mAh battery and 32 GB storage option. The phone will sport dual rear cameras, 13MP+2MP, and a 5MP front camera.
Motorola Ibiza (G40)
Word on the street is that Motorola will launch the Ibiza G20 later this month in India. The phone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC with a 90Hz screen. The phone is also expected to get a triple-camera set up with a 48MP primary lens. Ibiza G20 will sport an industry-standard 5000mAh battery and stock Android 11.
Moto G Stylus (2021)
The Moto G Stylus is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC and a 6.8-inch display. The phone all sport a quad-camera setup with a 48 Megapixel main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 2MP depth and a 5MP Macro lens. Moto G Stylus will come with a 128 GB storage option with 4GB RAM and Android 10. The phone will have a stylus, which is a pen-shaped device used for touchscreen phones.
Motorola Nio
Rumours say that Motorola Nio will be the next flagship from the company. The phone is certified by WiFi alliance and benchmarked by Geekbench. The phone will endorse Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC, a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen with a 105Hz refresh rate. With a battery of 5000mAh, the phone is expected to get a triple-camera setup with a 64 Mega Pixel main sensor.
Moto E7 Power
The Moto E7 Power is expected to be an affordable budget phone offering a better battery. The phone will come in 2 size variants, a 32 GB option with 2 GB RAM and a 63GB option with 4 GB RAM. The phone is expected to get an HD+ display and will be powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The phone will sport a 5000mAh battery and will get a physical fingerprint scanner at the back.
Motorola Athena
The Moto Athena will sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. The phone will have Android 10.
