PREMIER LEAGUE 2020-21: Jamie Vardy's late goal helped Leicester City secure all three points against Arsenal on Sunday (October 25) on away turf.

With this victory, Brandon Rogers' men also registered the club's first-ever victory at Arsenal in over 47 years.

After a stalemate first half, which saw Mikel Arteta's side miss couple of key chances, Jamie Vardy managed to fire the Foxes into the lead in the 80th minute after an inch-perfect Cengiz Under cross.

This was also the 11th goal for English forward against Arsenal in the Premier Leauge, only Wayne Rooney has scored more goals against the London side.

This win boosted Leicester to fourth place on 12 points, while the Gunners remained 10th on nine after six league matches.

"We weathered the storm, we started getting into it, we played well and came away with a 1-0 win. Its big for us but its just the next game. We had a couple of bad results and just wanted to put it right," Vardy said during the post-match interview.

Speaking about the win, Leicester manager Brandon Rogers said: "It feels good, it's a long time is 47 years, we just wish supporters were here to enjoy it. A good team performance, we were defensively strong and we had a lot of quality."

"We always felt we wanted to bring Jamie into the game at 60 minutes, to stretch the game behind," he added.
