Valentino Rossi to announce future on Sunday

Valentino Rossi is poised to announce where he will race in 2011 after the Czech Grand Prix on Sunday, the MotoGP world champion said on Thursday.

The 31-year-old Italian is in the last year of his contract with Yamaha and Ducati have said they want to sign him.

"On Sunday after the race you will know what I'll do in 2011," Rossi was quoted by Italian media as saying.

His move to Ducati has been widely expected in motorsport circles after the winner of nine world titles distanced himself from an immediate future in Formula One or rallying.
