Coach Roberto Mancini has dedicated Manchester City's FA Cup success to the club's loyal and long-suffering supporters.

The Blues landed their first major honour in 35 years on Saturday as they saw off Stoke 1-0 at Wembley.

Yaya Toure grabbed the only goal of the game after 74 minutes to ensure that City got their hands on their first silverware of the Sheikh Mansour era.

FA Cup glory arrives on the back of UEFA Champions League qualification, with the Blues starting to fulfil their undoubted potential.

Mancini is delighted to be the man leading the club into an exciting future and is pleased to have started repaying his owner and the City supporters for the faith they have shown in him.

He told Sky Sports: "I am happy. I think we dedicate this to all of our supporters because they deserve this important moment. It's not for me personally. I think always about the club and about our supporters."
