Manchester City may have rejected suggestions that a deal for Emmanuel Adebayor’s move to Juventus on loan has been finalized, but it does seem that the striker’s days at Eastlands are coming to an end.

Adebayor, who has repeatedly said that he is frustrated over his lack of opportunities at the club, has indicated that he is ready to leave City when the transfer window opens in January.

“Roberto Mancini, I do not know what I did, but he never plays me. I am going to have a change of scene during the transfer window,” the Independent quoted Adebayor, as saying.

“And I can already tell you that City have reached an agreement with Juventus for a loan. I therefore expect to be able to leave in December,” he added.

Signed in a £5 million deal from Arsenal 15 months ago, the 26-year-old has started just one Premier League game all season and is still awaiting his first league goal.
