Manchester United have always had a penchant for snatching victories out of nowhere. Under Alex Ferguson, the Red Devils scripted numerous such occasions where a late winner sent the Old Trafford faithful into a frenzy.

Similar was the case on Saturday, when Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial scored in United's comeback win over Middlesbrough in the Premier League. This never-say-die attitude is, perhaps, the reason why United enjoy an unparalleled fan-following around the world. And their most illustrious supporter, amongst the many, has to be none other that sprint legend Usain Bolt.

The Jamaican, who has always been vocal about his love for United, decided to call the club's radio phone-in on Manchester United TV (MUTV) post the win on Saturday. But in an unbelievable turn of events, presenter Mandy Henry failed to believe Bolt when he told her that it was actually him on the call.

Answering a series of calls from supporters, Henry said, "Our next caller is in Jamaica, we're heading over there to speak to Usain - it's not Usain Bolt is it?"

"I hope it's Usain Bolt," joked Bolt. Adding, "It is Usain Bolt, it is Usain Bolt."

Laughing off his claim, Henry said, "Well, what would you like to say Usain?"

To which the legend responded, "They really came through, as if it was the old Manchester United. They pushed on, they persevered - the Manchester United way. It was a great match, I'm very happy. I'm very happy I watched it."

Wanting to end the conversation on a courteous note, Henry asked, "Okay Usain, thanks very much, have you get any big plans for New Year's in Jamaica?" "No, just home, and a few fireworks," replied Bolt.

Here's the awkward conversation:

Later, Bolt took to Twitter to inform that it was, in fact, him who had called MUTV post the match on Saturday. "Come on lad of course it was me on Manchester United TV just now," he said.

Here's his Tweet:

Henry admitted she had no clue it was indeed the nine-time Olympic gold medalist on the other side of the call. "Sorry Usain, we didn't think it was you! Enjoy your celebrations in Jamaica and call again after West Ham on Monday night," she said.

Here's her tweet:

Well, good for Henry. How many people on this planet can say they hung up on Usain Bolt?
