MS Dhoni goes boom boom in Ranchi, slams fastest 50 in CL T20 off just 16 balls

On Thursday, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni was at his blasting best as he slammed 63 runs off 19 balls to take the CSK team to a mammoth 202/4 in 20 overs.

The 32-year-old who has been sporting a new hair cut in this series looked like his new cut was suiting him as his form on his home ground testified.

The 50, Dhoni slammed off just 16 balls is the fastest in the Champions League T20.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have their work cut out as they look to chase the score.

In the 18th over, Dhoni went on a six hitting spree as he hit 5 sixes and a four in a Thisara Perera over.

Prior to Dhoni, West Indian duo Kieron Pollard scored a 50 off 18 balls and Chris Gayle slammed 50 off 20 balls.

Dhoni seems to be on the right path leading the team by example as they look to win another CL T20 title as the shadow of the IPL betting scam off the field falls on the team.
