Police has revealed that they would take no further action against Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli over claims that the Italian used 'threatening behaviour' against a woman taking pictures of his car.

Balotelli was alleged to have moved towards the woman's daughter, while she was taking a photo of his Ferrari. The woman has since decided not to make a formal complaint.

Greater Manchester Police said in a statement that no criminal offences were disclosed and no crime recorded, adding that police were called to the location on 23 October 2014 following reports of threatening behaviour, The BBC reported.

The statement further said that officers have since spoken to the complainant and no further action would be taken.

The incident happened the day after Balotelli was substituted at halftime in Liverpool's 3-0 Champions League defeat by Real Madrid last week.

The 16 million pounds signing from AC Milan was criticised for swapping his shirt with Real's Pepe at halftime, the report added.
