A legal expert has reportedly predicted a guilty verdict for Oscar Pistorius in the ongoing murder trial at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria after texts from the Paralympian's girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp saying she was scared of his jealous rages were read out in the court.

Messages presented in court showed the model was forced to defend herself after Pistorius accused her of flirting with other men, with one of the texts being she is scared of how Pistorius snaps and reacts at her sometimes.

According to the Daily Star, Steenkamp also sent a text to Pistorius saying that both of them are living in a 'double standard relationship' as she does everything to make him happy while he does everything to throw tantrums.

Legal expert William Booth predicted a guilty verdict in the case, saying that a person who shot four bullets in the toilet has to be sure that he is going to hit someone.

The report mentioned that mobile phone expert Captain Francois Moller told the court that he had analysed 1,700 texts between Steenkamp and the Blade Runner.
