A thigh-strain sustained in the second Test against England in Visakhapatnam has ruled out Indian wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha from the third Test to be played in Mohali from November 26.
What comes as a surprise, though, is the replacement announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India for Saha. After a gap of eight years, Parthiv Patel has been included in the Indian Test side.
The decision has raised a debate whether the Gujarat captain is the best second-choice keeper-batsman in India today. What with the likes of Naman Ojha, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik and Ishan Kishan in the fray as well.
Do you agree with the decision to include Patel in the Indian team?
