Unlike regular food delivery websites, Zomato's service will require each restaurant to confirm an order from a user manualy, before it is processed. There will be a tablet set up in each of the partnered rstaurants, to act as a Zomato order hotline. Goyal said that the company has a sales team of 300 employees and 5,000 odd advertisers. Goyal added that the partners are aware of the volume Zomato brings to them which makes it easier for them to launch the food delivery service. Zomato has allocated over US $50 million to develop its new service across the country, from the Us $110 million investments they have raised in the recent past.
