Google has begun rolling out a feature that's been in development a while, Trusted Voice unlock. The feature allows users to smart lock their phone with voice recognition, and has just begun appearing in some users' setting, Android Police reported.
Tappin the Trusted Voice option under Google's settings will take you to the feature, an option to lock the phone with your voice instead of a pattern or pin. A warning does pop up, however, saying that it's not as reliable as other locking options, so use at your own risk. Simply tap and say "OK Google" to unlock your phone and execute basic commands. Keep in mind, the feature is still rolling out so it may take some time to appear on your device.
