Oculus Rift release on 28th March and to celebrate the occasion, Mark Zuckerberg used Facebook Live Broadcast tool to give potential users a hands-on demonstration of the Rift, from unboxing to taking about a future Oculus Rift related product.

Facebook bought Oculus VR back in March 25, 2014, for $2 billion. Mark Zuckerberg used the Facebook platform to unbox the Oculus Rift and hooking it up to a Windows PC. During the live stream Mark, along with Oculus co-founder Brendan Iribe and Facebook CTO Mike Schroepfer, answered questions about their latest virtual reality headset.

The Oculus Rift comes with 30 available games and costs $599 in the US, £499 in the UK, and €699 in Europe (approximately Rs 39,800) although potential consumers may have to wait as the VR headset is currently back-ordered.

This week, we started shipping Oculus Rift. I'll be showing you what's inside the box and taking some of your questions.
