LeEco likely to introduce a new smartphone on June 29; will sport 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 821

LeEco will launch yet another smartphone on June 29, ahead of Mobile World Congress, which is expected to be the Le Max 2 Pro. The company has put out an official poster hinting that the device will pack in the latest Snapdragon processor, which could either be the Snapdragon 821 or 823 processor.

A report by GizmoChina points out that the new device to be unveiled will most likely sport 8GB RAM and a 25MP rear camera. The clock speed of the smartphone is expected to be bumped up from 2.15GHz to 2.5GHz. The report also claims that the upcoming smartphone will be priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 30,000)

Recently, LeEco unveiled the second generation of smartphones, the Le 2 and the Le Max 2 in India today. The Le 2 has been priced at Rs 11,999 and will be available via Flipkart and LeMall.com via its first flash sale on June 28. Registrations begin on June 20 respectively. The Le Max 2 (4GB RAM/ 32GB in-built storage variant) has been priced at Rs 22,999 while the 6GB RAM/ 64GB in-built storage variant is priced at 29,999.
