HTC introduces a new smartphone dubbed U11 which will reportedly be available in India by June. There is no information provided regarding the price but it is rumored to be roughly Rs 50,000. It will be available in five colors - Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black, Ice White and Solar Red. It also comes with a feature dubbed Edge Sense.This feature lets you squeeze the phone in order to execute specific actions. It includes 8 sensors in all
In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. It is powered by a 2.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM. It includes an internal storage of 128GB which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. It will also be available in one more variant - 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage.
Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat with HTC Sense 9.0 skin on top, the smartphone comes equipped with a 12MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and an ultra-spread autofocus along with a 16MP front-facing selfie camera with BSI sensor. Connectivity features include GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. A 3000mAh battery completes the package. The smartphone is rated to offer up to 24.5 hours of talk time, and 14 days of standby time.
