Motorola launched the Moto G4 Play in May this year although the company didn't announce when Indian customers could get their hands on it. 3. Ringing Bells celebrates first anniversary with “Loyalty Programme”

On the occasion of Ringing Bells first anniversary, the company announced its “Loyalty Card” programme where cards in denominations of Rs 500, Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000 can be purchased on its website. With these cards, customers will get discounts on every purchase of Ringing Bells products and also receive ‘Freedom 251’ smartphone as a free gift. The booking for the loyalty cards will start from Thursday (September 1, 2016) 12 noon onwards. Read more here.

5. Why should India be concerned about 323 reindeer deaths in Norway?​

In what appears to be a freak of nature, 323 reindeer, including 70 calves, were killed after they were struck by the same bolt of lightning in a Norwegian national park. While the numbers are staggering, it isn’t common for lightning to kill animals or individuals. Read more here.
