Manjari’s love struck

Manjari Fadnis is in love. The actor admits that after being single for almost three years now she has finally found a soul-mate in her colleague.

“He is very good looking. He is from the film industry but he is not an actor. But the problem is that it’s just been a month and he has not proposed to me yet. And I don’t want to look like a fool by telling you his name. What if it doesn’t work out in the end?” she asks.

The girl who played Imran Khan’s girl friend in Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na says she had last ‘dated a few guys’ when she was in Fergusson College in Pune.

“I have dated a few guys but somehow the relationships didn’t last long enough. Neither did I feel the need or the urge to carry it forward to the next level. They (the relationships) died a natural death. But I am getting serious about this guy. His simplicity touches me the most. But I am not sure that he ‘the man’ in my life. Somehow, I am still waiting for that ‘moment’ to happen. We have gone out a couple of times and have just started dating,” she adds.

Manjari, who was in the midst of a controversy over a lip-lock with south Indian actor Nithin Sathya in a Tamil flick, says she is anything but conservative. “I wouldn’t do a scene for the heck of doing it. I wouldn’t say no to a bikini if the role is that of a glamourous woman. But if you are talking about going nude on screen, then this is where I draw the line.”

The once chubby girl says she has been working out furiously off late. “There was a time when I weighed 65 kilos. Now, I am 48 kilos. I am more confident about my body than I was before. I have also turned vegetarian,” she ends.
