Leopard beaten to death by villagers

A leopard has been killed by villagers after it attacked two persons of a family here,
forest department officials said on Wednesday. A big cat had attacked two members of a family on Tuesday after which the angry villagers surrounded the leopard and
killed it with lathis in Kurkuri Kuan village last night, Range Officer of Katarniyaghat M K Shukla said. He said this was the tenth incident of man-animal conflict in the jungles this year.
