Indian judoka wins silver medal in Asian Judo Championship

Indian judoka Ram Ashrey Yadav has won the silver medal in the 73Kg category at the Asian Judo Championship held from May 21-24 at Chinese Taipei.
    
A resident of Bhatti Village of Banaras, Ram has won many medals in international events in the past and is also a gold medalist in the Commonwealth Judo Championships held in January last year in Mauritius.
    
Among other Indians, Anil Kumar(100kg), Sanju Singh (66kg), KH Tombi Devi (48kg) and L Nirupama Devi (57kg) reached the semifinals.
