Is Jennifer Hudson pregnant?

Jennifer Hudson and fiance David Otunga may be expecting a little bundle of joy.

In spite of denials by her reps, two sources close to the singer confirmed to Essence magazine that Hudson is expecting her first child.

The Grammy-Oscar winner is engaged to Harvard law graduate David Otunga, who appeared on the reality show I Love New York 2. However, no date for their nuptials has been set as yet, reports The New York Daily News.

Hudson, who was a contestant at American Idol, saw the darkest period of her life when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago.

The beauty's estranged brother-in-law William Balfour was later charged with the killings.

Hudson returned to the stage on February 1, singing The Star-Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl.

A week later, she won her first Grammy Award for best R&B album.
