Fans who attend pop king Michael Jackson’s upcoming stage shows at London’s O2 arena will surely get to enjoy the feeling of being in a jungle, for the superstar singer has plans to inject some animal magic into his gigs with real elephants, monkeys and parrots.

According to reports, Jackson’s 40million-pound and 50-night residency in July will be set against a spectacular jungle backdrop.

“This is going to be an incredible stage show. Michael is pulling out all the stops to make sure it is one that fans will never forget,” the Daily Star quoted a source close to the ‘Thriller’ star as saying.

Meanwhile, for Jackson’s rehearsals, a Los Angeles aircraft hangar has been so designed that it looks like the O2 arena.

The 50-year-old has already started rehearsing at the hanger.

Jackson is also said to have plans to perform a complete song while suspended over the audience, and to sing a duet with his 12-year-old son Prince Michael.

Those close to Jackson say that he practises his moves, including his trademark moonwalk, up to eight hours a day.

“Michael is desperate for the tour to be a success. And he hopes the elephants and acrobatics will take some of the attention off him,” a source said.

“People forget he is 50 years old and not as fit as he used to be,” the source added.
