RGD seal final berth

RGD & Associates sealed a berth for the World Corporate Golf Challenge meet to be held in Spain by winning the Take Solutions WCG (India leg) that concluded at the plush Amby Valley Course in Lonavla on Saturday.

In their quest towards the grand finale of the Indian leg, RGD & Associates comprising Rahul Divan, Asish Agarwal, Riaz Batlivala and Yohan Pedder, went through a competitive series of regional rounds and semi-finals staged in Bangalore, Delhi and Lonavla.

Winners’ Divan, however, was ahead of the other golfers in fray with a handicap of 10 and an impressive 42 stableford points.

Soon after qualifying for the World meet at the La Manga Club course to be held in July, Divan looked pretty satisfied and vowed to fare well in the world meet too.

However, he felt that the opponents there would be tougher than expected
CEOs and senior management of major corporate houses such as Deutsche Bank, Toyota, Pepsi India, Intel, ICICI, Credit Suisse, T&T Motors, Hinduja Group and Bharti Airtel were among the corporate houses to take part in the event.
