Socialite Paris Hilton has revealed that despite her fame and fortune she has her own troubles and one of them is the lack of true friends.

Paris got candid in an interview in Britain, where she is presently working on her new reality show, Paris Hilton's British Best Friend.

"I moved from LA to New York when I was little so it was hard to make friends. A lot of people just want to be friends with me to become famous. I get used a lot," she told The Sun when asked if the show is just a gimmick.

Hilton also said that London was her favourite city in the world but added that she would prefer living in a hotel than having a place of her own.

"I prefer hotels. I love London so much and I love to visit but I'd rather just stay in really cool hotels. I throw the best parties after Hugh Hefner. Last time I threw one he came with five of his girlfriends. Everyone gets a go at pole-dancing and I'm pretty good at it. Not as good as Hugh’s girlfriends though," said the reality show star.

The heiress to the Hilton chain of hotels added, "I would love to come to London one time and wear a wig and a hat and stay in a hotel where nobody knows where I am. I could just go anywhere I wanted. That would be hot. But I never have any spare time,"

She was looking forward to having a British boyfriend but would not consider newly single Prince Harry out of respect for his ex girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

"I don't want to date Prince Harry though, even if he has split up with Chelsy because I really like her, she's such a sweet girl," said Hilton who is also well known for her expensive lifestyle.

"They were a really nice couple and they seemed so into each other so it's sad. It's always sad when people break up. I wouldn't date him out of respect to Chelsy, but in a few years, who knows? I don't look that far ahead," she said.
