Sarah Jessica Parker to be single again

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker's life seems to be going the same way as her alter-ego Carrie Bradshaw in the show, who constantly faces relationship problems.

The 43-year-old actress is reportedly splitting from husband Matthew Broderick after she realised that he cheated on her.

Parker is also house hunting and has asked a New York broker to find her an apartment, America's Star magazine reported.

Rumours have been circulating for some time that Parker's 11-year marriage to Matthew Broderick is in trouble after reports suggested that he cheated on her with a 25-year-old woman.

"The time has come when she realises it just isn't worth it. Sarah Jessica is determined to get her own place and bring down the curtains on her marriage," a source told the magazine.

Parker, Matthew and their six-year-old son James Wilkie spent Christmas together but it seems the pressure of keeping up a happy pretence only caused further cracks in their relationship, the magazine said.
