One more person was arrested by police on Wednesday in the alleged gang rape of a young MBA student and four of the remaining nine accused were still at large, as
Union minister Renuka Chaudhary trained her guns on chief minister Mayawati and also favoured death sentence to the perpetrators of the crime.

Five of the ten accused were remanded to 14-day judicial custody after they were produced before a Noida magistrate, a day after they were arrested. 22-year-old
Little, son of Jaibir, was picked up from Garhi Choukandi village this afternoon, police said, adding four other accused were absconding.

Police have till now arrested six persons in connection with the shocking incident that occurred when the victim was returning home with her friend in their car after shopping at a mall in Sector 39 here last evening.

A manhunt has been launched for other accused Tuiya, Omkar, Shashi Kant Golu and Anil, police said. The Noida gangrape gave fresh ammunition to Chaudhary to take on the Uttar Pradesh chief minister and BSP supremo.

In New Delhi, Choudhury, the Union minister for women and children development, also taunted Mayawati to "stop dreaming" of becoming prime minister since yesterday's case of gang-rape  in Noida came on the heels of the Nithari and Arushi murder cases in the UP.

She said none of the arrested persons should get bail.

"How did they think that they can do such a thing and get away. And when that question arises you start questioning the Government.

"So I think we have to start questioning the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh...what she has to say about this," she said.

Choudhry said, "You have Nithari and Arushi cases, you have Noida rapes. And that is sad if you can't solve the problem.

"I think you (Mayawati) should stop dreaming of being the prime minister," said Chaudhary who  had earlier also got into a war of words with the BSP supremo following the Arushi murder and the Nithari child killings.

On what punishment should be meted out to the accused, she said, "It is a non-bailable offence...none of them should get bail and after that I believe that thepeople have to
believe that there is a genuine investigation and what kind of people we are that we cannot protect our daughters."

Chaudhary said her personal view was that the accused should get death sentence.

Meanwhile, the National Commission for Women (NCW) constituted a two-member committee to inquire into the incident. The team also visited Noida.
