MUMBAI: Rajagopal Sathish will lead the ICL India side in the World Series of the Indian Cricket League ICL also involving - ICL Pakistan, ICL World and ICL Bangladesh - will commence in Ahmedabad on November 23.
According to a media release, all the matches of ICL World Series will be played at Sardar Patel Stadium, Navrangpura. ICL has announced a prize money corpus of Rs 2.74 crores for the upcoming championship.
The winners stand to gain Rs 1.25 crore while the runners-up will get Rs 75 lakh in cash.
A win in every league match will fetch Rs 10 lakh for the teams while the Man of the Match will be richer by Rs 2 lakh.
Inzaman-ul Haq will lead the ICL Pakistan team, Chris Harris will lead a galaxy of international stalwarts representing ICL World, Habibul Bashar will lead the ICL Bangladesh and Rajagopal Sathish will be the captain of ICL India.
