NEW DELHI: Pankaj Advani led Indian team will on Saturday leave for Welf, Austria to take part in IBSF World snooker championship to be held from October 27 to November 8.
    
Advani will spearhead men's challenge, which also include Sourabh Kothari and Manan Chandra.
    
Women's and Masters category competitions will also be played simultaneously, with G Seethi and Alok Kumar representing the country in Masters and Anuja Chandra and Vidya Pillai featuring in Women's division.
    
Pillai has just returned from Sheffield, London after a month-long training sponsored by the sports ministry and Billiard and Snooker federation of India is resting high hopes on her.
    
"The federation has high hopes from Vidya after she has undergone intensive training in UK," BSFI vice president Ravi Tandon said.
    
Subhash Aggarwal will accompany the team as its coach.
