KOLKATA: Putting to rest all the speculations regarding Shah Rukh Khan's association with the city's IPL team, CAB President Jagmohan Dalmiya on Saturday said the bollywood star was not disassociating himself from the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Some media reports had claimed that Khan was no more interested in owning the team and was trying to sell it off.

Terming his 30-minute meeting with the 'King Khan' as a "courtesy visit" by Khan, the former BCCI president said, "We are all happy that he came here. He told me that 'we are not leaving Kolkata and are prepared to come back again."

Before meeting with Dalmiya at the Eden Gardens, Khan had also said that he intended to stay with his IPL team.

"I am a Kolkatan from the day we bought Knight Riders," the actor said.

Dalmiya further said they are ready to extend full support to bollywood star.

"If Shah Rukh comes one-and-half step forward, we will go three-fourth. There will be full cooperation from our side. It was a very friendly, very warm and very open talk. Certain things I don't want to talk to you but our discussion was pretty general but not any individual items (ticket sales, arrangement etc)."

About the settlement of about Rs 7.5 crore with regard to the CAB expenses during the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League, Dalmiya said, "There are certain grey areas which have to be sorted out. If the approach is right then there's always a way out. It was so nice of him to come here and discuss the things with us."

The former CAB administration, led by Prasun Mukherjee, is yet to get about Rs 7.5 crore for variuos expenses it made during the 45-day extravaganza.
