Yesteryear’s cutest star couple will apparently be judging a dance show
If all goes well, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh will make their appearance on the small screen very soon. The star couple has been approached for several TV shows in the past. Now, they are contemplating the idea of judging one of them. A source close to the Kapoors says, “They have been getting a lot of offers. The channels are keen on signing them, as they have been one of the cutest and popular celebrity couples on the big screen.”
The source adds, “The show in question is about celebrity couples and dance. So getting Rishi-Neetu is a great idea given their successful marriage. They have been approached with a whooping amount of money too. However, Neetu is a little skeptical as she has not appeared on screen for a long time. So, the project has to be very exciting for her. Moreover, with so many reality shows around, she wants to do something substantial.”
Neetu says, “Yes, there have been a couple of offers. A few of them are interesting, but we have not decided anything yet. My husband and I have been approached to judge a reality show. For the moment, all I can say is that nothing has been finalised yet.”
Neetu maintains that she does not regret giving up acting. “I never wanted to make a comeback. I have been happy with my children and family,” she says adding, “Now, that my kids have grown and are doing well in their lives, I have a lot of time on my hands. If something interesting comes up for both of us, I might take it up,” she says.
Neetu says that she won’t be able to do a film without her husband Rishi. “A lot of people have approached both of us to feature together in a film. But, I would accept it only when both of us have interesting characters. I am very attached to my husband and I don’t think I would be able to act with any other actor,” she adds. What is she up to in her free time? “My husband is busy shooting for multiple films outdoors. So I am all the time travelling with him and enjoying life,” she ends. The duo was earlier apparently approached to judge a dance show on Sony, which did not work out.
