RGV goes to EOW against T-Series

MUMBAI: Well-know filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma met additional commissioner of police of the  economic offences wing (EOW) Sadanand Date at the city police headquarters on Friday.

Rakesh Maria, joint commissioner of police (crime), said, “Verma and T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar had apparently entered into a contract for songs for a film that was to be made between 2004 to 2006. But, Kumar allegedly forged the contract papers and extended the contract to two films instead of one. When Verma realised the change in the contract, he lodged a complaint against the music company with EOW on Friday.”

Film maker Mukesh Bhat, brother of director-producer Makesh Bhat, also lodged a complaint of cheating against T-Series on Thursday.
