Nasscom appoints Kamlesh Bajaj as CEO

MUMBAI: NASSCOM, the premier trade body of the IT-BPO industry, today announced the appointment of Dr Kamlesh Bajaj as CEO, DSCI and as the head of its security initiatives.
       
Bajaj will be based in the New Delhi office of the DSCI and in addition to assuming the office of the CEO of DSCI, will also be responsible for providing direction to NASSCOM's ongoing security initiatives and activities, a release said.
       
Prior to joining NASSCOM, Bajaj was serving as Global Head of Information Risk Management and Managed Security Services, Global Consulting Practice with TCS, it said.
       
DSCI is envisaged as a credible and committed body to uphold a high level of data privacy and security standards.
       
NASSCOM had earlier announced the appointment of Shyamal Ghosh as Chairman for the DSCI.
