Woman hacks daughters and mother to death

KOLLAM: In a gruesome incident, a 35-year-old woman allegedly hacked to death her two daughters and her mother before attempting suicide at Kannanelloor in this district.
  
Police identified the deceased as Savithri (70), Sruthi (8) and  Preethi (6).
  
Latha, who attempted suicide by cutting a vein in her hand on Tuesday, was rushed to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital in a critical condition, police added.
