ADELAIDE: Even though the fourth cricket Test between India and Australia seems to be heading for a dull draw, Virender Sehwag feels that a result is on the cards in the final match of the series at the Adelaide Oval.

"There is still a very good chance of getting a result in this match. We will be playing for result, either we or they should win the match but a result will come," Sehwag said after the end of the third day's play.

Indian bowlers on Saturday toiled to pick up only three wickets conceding 260 runs. Australia, on the other hand, managed 322 for three on the board in reply to India's first innings score of 526.

The Delhi batsman said the match could switch in India's favour if the bowlers picked up some early wickets on the fourth day.

"In the last Test (during India's tour Down Under in 2004) also till the third day it looked like a draw. But in the fourth and fifth days things happened quickly and it produced a result. If we take 2-3 quick wickets tomorrow morning we can manage it," he said.

Sehwag, who bowled in tandem with off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, said the pitch was still favouring batsmen.

"The track is still favourable for batting and we did a good job by stopping them at 260 runs in three session," he said.

On their bowling, Sehwag said, "Harbhajan was bowling on different lines of the off stump while I was bowling outside it. I was bowling more dot balls as was instructed by (skipper Anil) Kumble," he said.
