Moser Baer to strengthen after-sales services

MUMBAI: Data storage media major Moser Baer has tied up with F1 Services and Support for after-sales service and customer support, the company said here on Wednesday.

F1 is a strategic business unit of Neoteric Infomatique Pvt Ltd, one of India's leading distributors of technology products and solutions.

Moser Baer with tie-up would leverage F1's existing reach of 30 service centres and 14 associate service partners in India.

F1 will provide repair, replacement onsite and return to base on Moser Baer product line of optical drives, pen drives, keyboards, mouse LCDs, speaker headphones and other products.

"It has been our endeavour to make our products easy to use and service. With this tie-up, we will have access to the strong after-sales service network of F1, which will help us strengthen our presence," said Sudip De, assistant general manager, domestic marketing, Moser Baer, while announcing the tie-up.

"F1 has always believed in providing quality service. This tie-up has reinforced what we stand for," said Kaushal Khandor, Neoteric's vice-president, corporate.

The New Delhi-based Moser Baer is a leader in the development and manufacture of removable data storage media. It is the second largest optical storage media manufacturers in the world. It has a broad and robust product range of floppy disks, compact discs, DVDs and audiocassettes.

The company has a presence in over 82 countries, serviced through six marketing offices and subsidiaries in India, the US and Europe.
