HYDERABAD: Investigators probing the twin blasts prepared the sketch of a suspect based on the information provided by the survivors of the bombing at Lumbini Park  and released it on Wednesday here.

The newly-set up Special Investigation Team (SIT) is working on a lead that a youth, carrying a black bag, was moving around the crowded park on the day the blasts occurred.

"We are preparing the sketch of the youth based on the description provided by the people," the SIT head and Additional Commissioner of Police M Punna Rao told here on Wednesday.

The sketch of the suspect was released.

The police had earlier appealed to the visitors to provide any piece of information, including photographs and video clips of the open air auditorium and its surroundings, to help find clues about the terror attack on Saturday.

The SIT sleuths also got a lead that the watch used in the timer device was purchased from a shop in Abids area here.

During the last two days, the police have obtained the statements from the injured. They have also questioned some of the Pakistani and Bangladeshi nationals overstaying in the city.
