AMETHI: Priyanka Gandhi on Sunday ruled out her entering into active politics in the near future.

"I have small children and I need to spend time with them which is my priority," Priyanka told reporters on board a flight to a query about her chances of getting into active politics.

"I am here to help my brother and support him in his plans, she told reporters in the midst of the second day of her maiden road show here.

In most of her addresses, she unfailingly mentioned Rahul's concern for the people here and appealed to strengthen him by supporting Congress candidates.

Priyanka, who is the star campaigner and one of the few crowd pullers for the party, had acted as an election manager for her mother and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi for Rai Bareily constituency in the last Lok Sabha election.

Batting for her brother, she had launched a scathing attack on Mulayam Singh yesterday saying "no one should write-off any one as a novice in politics."
