A bar girl, Shivli Bhomik, was on Saturday robbed of Rs15,000 cash and jewellery worth Rs45,000 in suburban Bandra, police said.

MUMBAI: A bar girl was on Saturday robbed of cash and jewellery in suburban Bandra, police said.

Shivli Bhomik was robbed of Rs15,000 cash and gold ornaments worth Rs45,000 on Saturday evening, Deputy Commissioner of Police Makrand Ranade said.

Four persons entered Bhomik's house in Arjun building, near Uncle's Kitchen Restaurant on Marve road at Malad, on the pretext of having to do cable wiring, police said.

Bhomik's friend, however, said, they entered the house and took away cash and jewellery on gun-point and assaulted her on her head.

The assailants have not been identified.
