Zee’s little champs of 2006 have now been roped in to select fresh talent for the channel’s recently launched show ‘Antakshari’
At the ‘Antakshari’ auditions to be held in Mumbai tomorrow, the three finalists will egg on participants and encourage the best voices to get into the show. Cheering for the Mumbai participants is Sameer Mohamad, the second runner up in the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs finals who will be present at the venue.
Says Sameer, “I would love to see maximum number of participants from my city. My job will be to quiz them on the songs they choose to sing at the auditions.” According to the channel, the city with the maximum entries will win.
So, the contest has once again narrowed down to Diwakar Sharma who is campaigning for his hometown Delhi, Sanchita Bhattacharya who will root for her native Kolkata along with Sameer.
‘Antakshari’, in its second season, is being hosted by comedy king Sunil Pal and Himani, who herself was one of the finalists of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge. The auditions will be held for kids between the age group 8-13 years.
