Woman gives birth to six baby boys

JUNAGADH: In a very rare and interesting case, a 22-year-old woman gave birth to six baby boys in neighbouring Veraval district.  

Mrs Shantaben Subhashbhai Zala, a resident of Vadodar Zilla was admitted to a private hospital in Veraval where she delivered three set of twins in her first caesarean operation around 6:45 pm on Monday evening.

Two of them, however, died immediately after birth, hospital sources said.   

The condition of the mother and her four sons who weigh around 1.5 kg each is stable, hospital sources added.

The woman's husband, Mr Subhashbhai is a farmer in the village.
