MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India and the International Cricket Council held a meeting on the contentious issue of Members’ Participation Agreement at Mohali on Sunday evening. The two sides, armed with legal luminaries, held a two-hour meeting.
The ICC was represented by a top official along with its advocate.
The BCCI delegation was led by its vice-president Lalit Modi. The other members of the delegation were secretay Niranjan Shah, former president IS Bindra and Arun Jaitley, the president of the Delhi District Cricket Association and a noted lawyer.
After the meeting, the BCCI said the discussions were “satisfactory”.
The ICC is likely to take a decision on India’s suggestion at its meeting in Mumbai on November 3 and 4.
